In the Fall of 2010, Youngstown State University’s Student Literary Arts Association announced their intentions to the world: To create an online space that brought Youngstown arts to the world, and the world to Youngstown. That intention transformed into the magazine you’re reading: Jenny Magazine. Ten years later, we’re taking a look back at the seeds of an idea, the connection between the magazine and its community, and the purpose and place of art to a local community and a world at large.
