and so does my desire to conform
my body into a delicate landscape.
I long to lie with the mountains
and dance with the grains.
I want my voice
to carry the fragrance of roses
as it lifts a honeybee higher to suckle.
Rain and snow will guide me,
diminish the harshness of my shape,
as I light a final candle and blow myself
out with the wind.
